About the Artist

Type: Instrumental Soloist

Genre(s): Rock, Jazz, Blues

Instrument(s): Woodwind

Interested in meeting new playing partners? No

Perform in public? Yes

Upcoming Shows: See PTBand.com

Main influences: Cannonball Adderley, Boots Randolph, Plaz Johnson, David Sanborn, Lenny Pickett, Tower of Power

Recording and equipment: I play Selmer Paris Alto, Baritone, and Bass Saxophones. My Tenor is a David Guardala Saxophone. All mouthpieces are Bobby Dukoffs. When recording my sax sings through a Neumann M-149 Microphone. When live, I love my Samson Airline wireless.  My first tape recorder was a 3" Wollensak reel to reel. My second recording system was 2 Pioneer CT-F2121 cassette recorders. I would listen to one recorder while recording my live signal and the recorded one to a second CT-F2121 recorder. In 1976 I got my first true multitrack...a Teac 3340S...and my life changed forever!
